Southern Dolly Day Sunday August 16th

As with previous years, we intend to hold Southern Dolly Day at Hampshire classic car show at Breamore House Nr Fordingbridge date is Sunday August 16th.

As in past years i intend to meet up at Rownhams services on the M27 and drive into Breamore House, if anyone wants to join me i will try and be there around 0845am leaving the service station about 0915am, we need to be on site by 10am.

Big thanks to Chris, Justyn and all the gang for a great Southern Dolly day. I am sure someone will post some pictures soon. We had a great day in the glorious sunshine :D

I'm glad to hear the club won the best club stand award, definitely among the best looking cars at the show.

Tony, I'm sure you can see which caught my eye the most :lol: . Unfortunately didn't take pictures of every car at the stand but did manage to talk with a couple of owners, one of which owned the blue sprint (didn't catch their name!). I definitely want to get hold of one sooner rather than later.

Yes, this was a very good event. Thanks all for supporting it. Just as last year we remembered the 1st class cafe ( excellent real coffee there ) and the museum which is always worth a visit as well as the cars and the auto-jumble. Some of the museum exhibits would have been interesting restoration projects. I think a start was being made on their traction engine.
