Get a load of tundra...

Fortunately not a lot of folks will have seen this colour....

So here is my order or "resale negativity"

tundra
saffron
catsick (sorry sandglow)
russet
topaz (not even a stag can pull this off)
harvest gold (common on now almost extinct land crabs and 1100's)
balmoral green (afflicted my old rangie)

So raise a glass with me to those tasteful folks who ordered them in this colour....
Without you we would all be diminished....and could eat curry without thinking about cars we once owned.

Its very "of its time"... I dont hate it, on the right car i could live with it. And i like Sandglow.

I venture this tentatively but brown seems to be making a come back - I've seen quite a few Minis and Fiat 500's sporting beige and a distinctly Russetish brown
With a bit of luck the lairy oranges, greens, purples and yellows from the 70's will be hot on their heels and brighten the place up instead of all these dull greys, silvers and blacks

This reminds me a bit of "Stroudley's engine green" , a colour applied to locomotives of the LSWR about the turn of the (19th/20th) century. But poor old Stroudley had an excuse, he was colour blind!
The only mini I ever owned was Tundra, but then I didn't buy it for the colour!

Im a huge fan of the more period colours, ive had a Topaz Spit 1500 which looked great, had a Harvest Gold Mk1 Quartic Wheeled Allegro too. Tundra has always appealed to me, along with Citron, Acconite, and Rovers Avocado The White on my Dollys a bit tame really hehe
