Found the JP ones in Australia but the price is a hard one to swallow. Does anybody know where to get a set of good pistons for a Sprint engine cheaper?

You can use TR7 pistons and get a machine shop to notch them for the valves.

Someone on here did this not long ago and posted photos...

JP pistons are works of art. Had them in my pimp mobile bmw m635, they were 60% the price of bm pistons and 66% the weight. I had them on the matle piece for a week before I fitted them! Wife was not impressed. They helped to make 320bhp for the bm and it revs like a revvy thing.

Seriously these are top draw pistons, hence the price. If you are building a serious motor then you put serious pistons in them. Otherwise go for standard clanky crap for rimmers.

Save the pennies and buy.
