Hi ,8 months into restoring a 1977 dolomite sprint and getting ready for some paint. The colour code is 19 triumph white. I find this a little two creamy for my liking and wondered if anybody knows of anu other whites which were used on Dolomites. This vehicle isn't been done for shows but to be used for pleasure. Would appreciate some advice please. Also what is used to replace the fuel pipe which runs the length of the vehicle as this needs replacing as I would like to use the original clips if possible. There are only 2 whites used on Triumph cars, 19 and another one so obscure I can't even remember what it's called, but I think it died out about the time the first Dolomites were built anyway. If you're not bothered about originality and spraying the whole car, just pick a white you like from the paint suppliers chips!
Motor factors can supply 8mm copper pipe for fuel. You will either have to be very careful bending it or get a plumbers pipe bender to put several 90 degree bends needed. And on that note, 8mm microbore central heating pipe is just as good as that the factors sell and usually cheaper!

Agree with that. I did mine with 8mm pipe from the local plumbers merchant.
