tyres!
My new Dolly needs at least 2 new tyres as one is cracked and one has the start of a bulge.
Three of the 4 tyres on the car are Goodyear GT80s, two look fine so I would like to keep these. What should I get to replace the 2 that are shot? Longstone recommend Michelin XAS, which are the right size but are pricey and, if I remember correctly, need an inner tube.
The high street tyre dealers sell a variety of 155 13 tyres but they seem to come in a range of modern profiles & I'm completely baffled which one to go for.
Any advice would be welcome

I don't know what model you have (save it's NOT a Sprint) but the original size would be 155/80/13 often called 155/13 back when 80 was the "standard" profile. However your rims will happily accept 175/70/13 tyres which are within a gnats whisker of being the same rolling radius thus keeping whatever speedo accuracy you have and putting a bit more rubber on the road. If you are only fitting 2, put the bigger ones on the back to start with then upgrade the rest as they wear out. Unless you are obsessive about originality, this is what I would recommend. Make is a personal choice and personally I stay away from the very cheapest Chinese imports but otherwise i'm not fussy. AFAIK XASs are not tubed only, but it's been so long since i've seen one, I could be wrong. Most of the best known brands are now stupidly expensive for 13" tyres but I reckon any of the second rank makers are worth a look, someone on here recently got some Fuldas (IIRC) for sensible money.

Get 4 tyres, trust me, it's a very sensible thing to do.
I put 175/70/13 Falken Sincera 832s on my 1850 and the car is now amazing! What a difference.
I can now throw the car around in the wet just like any modern.
