Dollys at Lathalmond Show September 2015

#1 Post by Dolly-Dimple »

I thought I had already posted these on here (i know i did on the Facebook group anyway). 3 Dollys were in attendance, my White one (its first show!) and two lovely Russett ones: a gorgeous 1300 (i spoke to the lady owner who was very nice and friendly) and a lovely 1500HL whom i never got the chance to speak to its owner. Strange that the 1300 did not have vinyl seats...was cloth an option on the 1300? Its maybe had a cloth interior retro fitted mind you.

All three cars look great, although I'm not a fan of the black wheel trims.

Thanks Pipin, much appreciated for the kind words about my own car :-) The later HL trims yes they are a bit Marmite from what i can make out: people seem to either love or hate them (i love them personally) but there doesn't seem to be any inbetweeners!! you sometimes see later HL cars with older style trims.

Kind Regards

Russell.

Later 1300's were fitted with cloth seats and the last ones were also fitted with the spitfire type SE wheels.

It certainly does Dave...I prefer them with the standard plain 1300 / 1500 hubcaps personally.
