With Christmas out of the way, I thought I'd start the 2016 thread for the West Yorkshire meetings. As I mentioned in the 2015 thread, the first meeting of 2016 will take place on Tuesday 5th January which is now only a week away. I will be taking my Dolomite which is now running better than ever. I'll be sending out my usual monthly e-mail to all the local members on my e-mail list when I get home from work (I'm working today and tomorrow).

Tonight's the night...

It was just me and Trevor tonight. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday the 2nd of February.

The next meeting's only a week away...

I've sent out my e-mail. I lost all my email contacts when I had to reinstall Windows 10. Fortunately, all my e-mail messages were safe so I was able to retrieve my list of local TDC members from the last e-mail I'd sent.

Tonight's the night!

Last night's meting was an improved turnout with 5 of us attending. Along with me were Bob, Keith, Roger & Kath. My 1850 was not the only club car. Roger & Kath's came in their lovely Sapphire 1500TC. One possible venue for NDD was discussed and I said I'd see what the TSSC/COWS were going to do. Other shows mentioned were the Otley Extravaganza, the Bradford Classic (must get my entry in!) and the Hebden Bridge show (handy for me). Other than that, it was the usual chat over a few drinks. The next metting will be taking place on Tuesday 1st March at 8.00pm.

I was at the local TSSC meeting last night and Drive it Day was mentioned which will be taking place on the 24th of April. It think it would probably be a good idea to tag along with another club. The local TSSC area group haven't arranged anything yet. I'd like to do something this year (my Dolly was out of action for last year's DID). They might be doing Riddlesden Hall on Father's day so we might tag along like we did last year. I've not made any decision on NDD yet. It would be good to hold it as part of a larger show preferably in the summer months. I'd like to find out when the TDCIR is taking place before making a decision on NDD.

Tonight is the night!

Last night it was Roger, Kath, Keith and me. I want to get Drive It Day and NDD sorted out. I've decided to wait until the next TSSC meeting to see what they're going to do.

The next meeting will take place on the 5th of April.

I've made a decision on Drive It Day. I'm going to tag along with the TSSC to The Carding Shed at Holmfirth. We'll be meeting at Drighlington Cricket Club at 10am on Sunday 24th April. I'll be sending out an email when I get back from tonight's TSSC meeting.

In the absence of member input, I'm seriously thinking of having NDD at the same place as last year. I need to make a decision before the deadline for the next issue of DM. If I go ahead with this then the Otley Extravaganza can be a 2nd late season NDD. I've also got my 1850 running report to submit and my feedback on the club stainless exhaust. Once I've made the decision, I'll be starting a separate NDD thread.
