Hi to everyone,
I have just bought my lad his 17th birthday present, (he turned 16 this week!) so he is/will be the NEW proud owner of "Gloria"
I thought it would be a good idea to add to his busy schedule, school exams, girlfriend, guitar, karate etc :D and now learning how to get/keep a car on the road! as they say, no gain without pain!
"Gloria" isn't quite the young lady she once was, yes she still looks beautiful, but not as beautiful as she once was, I am led to believe that her sex drive (gearbox) isn't as it once was (anyone know of a good gearbox man) and she has a few issues in the looks department, only minor, but they do need sorting. "Gloria" has been resting for the last year or so (off the road and dry store) and will remain their until after Easter, thanks Will much appreciated.
Fortunately I work in an accident repair centre, so her good looks aren't so much of a problem, and if all things work out I do hope to have her back on the road late summer (all the best laid plans of mice and men...........) any how, if any of the original good people who gave her back her life can assist me with information as to some of the mod's carried out and to carb set up etc, read that that caused a few headaches in the past, I would be very grateful.
I am an old man  but if someone can tell me how, I will upload some photos of her now, and during her upcoming rejuvenation, thank in advance.

Welcome aboard the board John!

Fine, so nowadays they're called forums but they used to be called bulletin boards when I was a kid. Still, good to see you, and I'm sure if you wade through this post we can all see Gloria in her glorious faded glory.

I thought that name sounded familiar, there's a resurrection/restoration thread on here for it!

I see why you have the broken image placeholder, you're copying the page address, you need to copy the 'IMG' link from the right hand 'Share this photo' box on Photobucket page and paste that in, hope that helps:
