Hi
I have recently bought a 1975 Triumph 1500TC at the Morris Leslie car auction. Its have a few issuses to get it back on the road but it is going well with only the headlight switch causing issuses, so I replaced it with this cheap switch off eBay and thought it might be usefully info for others.

You have to modify the original knob to make it fit the switch, I didn't bother!
Regards
Barry

Hi Barry,
As they say, necessity is the mother of all invention!
Often, you will find that second hand (or even new, sometimes) spares are available. If you ever wanted the original look, I'm sure you'd find someone with a replacement switch...I have several myself.

I decided that at £7 delivered to the door, there was no point going second hand!

Looks like that's not the first non-original switch, the heated rear window switch, or at least the bakelite bit, isn't right either!
Found the car on 'Bidspotter', looks nice and solid with a good interior, well done

Well my car is not going to win any originality awards once I am finished with it anyway!
