Without pointing out the obvious she must have special goggles cos those joints will be very small. Not sure what she'd solder them with though as she doesn't have any solder to hand nor a solder remover.

In the past I've occasionally dropped a soldering iron and automatically reached out to catch it .... However, I think this technician would be fine with that!

Long time ago I attended a course at a US Army Electronics Training School in Arizona. One Monday morning one of the class, a US Army Master Sergeant, came in with his hand bandaged up. Over the weekend he and his mate had been building a radio. He asked his mate to pass the (soldering) iron.......
Words of wisdom from the instructor (in a southern drawl) Never Never Never pass a soderin iron pointy end first!

My father was a research chemist and his legacy was to never pick up anything by its lid.
About the only thing I ever learnt from him as he was gone by the time I was 3 and dead by the time I was 11 so not much of a father really.
