Can anyone tell me if you can use the original brake hoses with the tj conversion? Looking at some orange braided flexis and I'm not sure if they would be useable or not:).
Cheers guys.

If your doing the job properly (which you clearly are) get aeroquip braided hoses with ends to suit.

The Ford caliper uses a 10mm x 1mm thread for the Ford hose. Dolly would use a 3/8 unf threaded hose. Some people use the ford hose joined to a dolly hose and others like me use a braided hose from the caliper to the metal brake pipe (which is also 3/8 unf so the hose will need to be metric one end and unf the other UNLESS as I did you make a new metal brake pipe with metric one end and unf the other.

What they said
I used to use a small copper pipe section with a male 10mm end and a female UNF standard BL to utilise a standard threaded hose but many companies can now supply a custom flexi hose to suit, so a bodge is now not the best solution.
Okay, as Jon has said.....

These Ford calipers are
sliding so using copper brake pipe is at best dangerous, kunifer may be okay but
the best way to do it is:

(I don't know what has happened to the photo but the description should suffice.)
