Hello there.

This is a really quick one (and I apologise if it's already been covered) but how can I tell when my Sprint alloys were produced? Is there a date stamp and if so where is it?!

Many thanks to you all in advance...

It is embossed on one of the black painted segments near the middle. There are two on each wheel that will be embossed, one gives the size of the wheel, the other will either have the GKN logo and a two digit date code, ie '77' for 1977 or the letters SMC and the date in a circle, again two digit only. Sterling Metal (SMC) was a subsidary of GKN.
