Just a quick question to any fwd owners who have removed the engine without the gearbox. Haynes manual says to remove 13 bolts plus 2 nut bolts(from 'sump' flange) and the 2 long bolts that run through the gearbox.
I have removed 10 bolts and 2 nut/bolts on the 'sump' flange and the 2 long bolts. where might the other 3 be? or is the Haynes manual wrong?

Re: FWD engine/gearbox info required
It's been 3 years or so since I rebuilt my engine but 13 bolts sounds about right - one side of the engine has 6 bolts (I think) the other side has 4 or 5 and the 2 nuts; leaving the remainder of the bolts across the front of the engine behind the starter gear.
