Rimmer Bros nos Bumpers - Removing Protective Wrap

I recently bought a nos rear bumper quarter from a forum member, it still had the protective canvas on it. I've read before that this can actually peel off the chrome upon removal, plus a warning from xvivalve reminded me to take it easy.
Here's the thing - the bumper came with a Rimmer part number and sticker and upon removal of all the protective wrap it's clear that this was not a nos factory part since the chrome wasn't all the way under the bumper, and the chrome is thinner than most gold leaf!
Anyhoo, using some stuff called AF Labelclene I managed to get all the stuff off, there are some small parts damaged from storage but this is the reult:

Messy but worth it. Now that the old bumper is off I'll give that bottom wing panel a clean and a blow over before fitting the bling part.
