Don't laugh, it's only the paint that is holding the form together!
There is not one panel worth saving on the car!!

Fuel costs for the Alfa, and wear and tear....trailer hire or wear and tear...time.....
storage costs and time and materials on breaking it...
Gosh am I becoming like my mrs...?
You love it...so why not...that's more like it.

Last year that Alfa only did 500 miles between MoTs, which means in tax and insurance terms alone it cost me just over £1/mile. A 200 mile return trip in one day therefore will hopefully help reduce that cost for the current year.
I own the trailer, it cost me £400 about 10 years ago. It has cost me another £100 for tyres and wheel nut/studs subsequently. Every time I use the trailer, its cost per use reduces and justifies why I don't sell it.
The five hours it took me to collect it was valuable 'down time' that with current work load would likely not have otherwise taken.
I now know the location of a partly laid up '78 Inca Sprint.
All in all a productive day.

Hobbies on paper look poor in terms of time and money. But what they do for your wellbeing is amazing. And that is difficult to value.....

That's the tattiest car I've seen for some time. A day out is a day though.
