Toledo Gearbox query

Hi all,
I've recently bought a 1300 4 door 1971 Toledo and I was wondering if any of you could answer a question?
I think the gearbox may have a problem with the syncros. Do you know if there is a syncro on every gear and if I were to purchase another gear box is there any others that would fit it, a Herald gearbox for example?
