The Triumph Dolomite Club - Discussion Forum

I have changed all the oil seals and gasket on the sprint axle. The diff looks to be in good nick and it is painted. Trouble is I don't how to setup the backplate shims. The axle came with a load of them, but the little book of lies has no mention of the procedure and I can't find any forum posts.

How is the initial setup done?

If you can find Mike Weaver's blog he has done this on there.

There is some pretty sophistication engineering on that blog, the efi stuff in particular.
