Hi Mike,
I use Photobucket, it can be a bit slow & you do get popup adverts but I can live with that as it is free.
How long it will remain free is unknown to me, so if they do start charging then I will be in the same boat on my thread.
I guess the only sure way is to upload them to the forum, but I find that a real PITA, plus I guess there must be limited server space?

I use flickr and although im no expert in these matters it works ok for me. Its part of yahoo so you will need a yahoo (or rocketmail) account.

I use photobucket, it is free up to certain capacity which apparently I'm approaching. It can also be painfully slow at times

I've always used photobucket but it's now a horrible site to use, very slow and full of ads. I would probably prefer not to use it but I've kind of tied myself to it for now.
If you literally want to put a collection of pictures together you might want to consider using Google Drive/Photos. It won't do the IMG code stuff but it's very easy to use and very easy to link to the albums. You could always sub-organise them by date or by job.

It's an option anyway. There don't seem to be so many people supporting BB code now.

I also use Flickr, as pointed out previously it's part of Yahoo - so use a dedicated email address for that alone and a very strong password!
Nothing in life is free, and even paid-for services can shut down or change their T&Cs, but Flickr has been fine for me since the last (can't remember their name) free service decided to charge, then shut down completely.

Who manages the TDC website? Perhaps steer them over to
https://postimage.org/mod.php for an easy external hosting image plugin for phpBB.

Raf, I think Andy P. is your man. Photbucket is a right royal PITA so I might have to start using my Flickr account.
