I bought a new seal for the auto sprint, it looks really nice but now fitted I can't shut the bonnet, has anyone else had this problem?.

Yes, I had a new one in a pile of bits I bought and it takes a slam to close now and sits proud. wasn't happy and now the glue is on Im hoping it will flatten down a bit, just before it perishes completely lol.
If I did another one I'd look for something thinner

Ditto, except I used a neoprene roll, 15 x 15mm, hopefully will compress a bit over time.
