Which socket will remove the square bolt on the selector rods? Can you still get them?

1/4 / 5/16 brake spanner will do the job.

Thanks, I was looking for square sockets, never would have tried brake spanner.

You can also get an 8 point quarter drive socket that will do the job.
There are probably 3/8 drive ones too that might be stronger. Sometimes they are a bit tight.
