Fitted a new exhaust today, an xmas present to my dolomite, see video below:

Only problem is the old exhaust clamp fitted from the gearbox to the downpipe to the sports exhaust was welded and chopped about with by a previous to fit that exhaust system

Has anyone got a manual gearbox exhaust clamp bracket going spare? Rimmer Bros don't seem to do them

Cheers

Steve

Is that a Club exhaust? They're well worth the money. The part number you'll need is 159674. Have you tried T.D. Fitchett? A thread in the "wanted" section might also produce a result. Your old exhaust looks like a Rimmers sports exhaust.

Yeah it was a Rimmers, I was going to get a club one, but then I needed alot of parts from Rimmers, and they were having a sale on. It when on alight, but the section between the boxes was a little tight to fit

I'll give him a call

I had some of these made a while ago but they all sold and there was insufficient demand for a second batch. If I can find the original pattern, I'll get some more done...

I don't need one at the moment, but if some are made up I'll definitely buy one as a spare.

I have just realised I'm going to need one of these as well, thanks for being this to light, I going to join the club and get the club exhaust. Are these going to be made if there's enough interest and will they be compatible with the club system.

Have found the original, will get some copies made...

It should be compatible the Club exhaust, as both are copies of original equipment

I took the pattern to the fabricator on Friday and asked him to make half a dozen. He already had an order for chassis legs, front and rear wing repairs and front footwells, most of which were in progress, so hopefully a week or so...I'm not his only customer though...
