Lifting the Sprint

I need to put my Sprint on ramps in my garage. At present I cannot drive it so will need to lift the front and slot the ramps under the wheels.

Can the front sub-frame take the strain of being lifted?

Cheers

It should do, I have lifted mine the same way for the same reason.
Clean any oil and grease off first to prevent the jack slipping, I also use some wood to spread the load and it gives a better interface between the jack and the subframe.

Mario

use the centre cross piece on the sub frame if you can (the one behind the sump) it flat.

It lifted nicely from the part in front of the sump but will lower it from the centre bit as suggested (I had already lifted it by the time the post was made!).
