Any chance, any of you lads own this car?

I found this video long time ago, and I like it.
It's pretty funny, and contains a very nice car!
I been wandering if it's still around and how modified it is. LSD and stock everywhere else.

Isn't that John (Trackerjack)?
The designer of the most legendary and sought after Sprint brake upgrade in the land!!

I like the car, but why wouldn't I, it's a fast Dolly

Knowing Jon, the car probably had a few tweaks, but it's quite easy to get a mahoosive wheelspin from an uphill standing start on a damp British road.
That clip is well known amongst TDC and forum members!

Wotcha

Yes I am that man and the road was dry Steve

The tyres were old and could have been better. The car was virtually standard but enjoyed uprated suspension as I believe that handling, cornering and braking come before engine tuning it was still on a standard cam and 2" SU's.
As Alun wrote I sold the car 3 years ago to a very nice chap in Ohio who will keep it in top condition.
Glad you like the video as my wife and I only did one take for a laugh to poke fun at the global warming brigade that waste energy left right and centre by buying new cars and claiming that because of the emissions it somehow makes up for the hideous waste of energy to make the damn thing

That is so cool!
Very cool to meet you. Epic car/video!
You are the inventor of the Dolly Disc Brake upgrade kit?
Is the rear disc brake a most-have on street cars or is the front the weak link, and rear is more for track racing?
Did yours have a LSD? Or where you just just lucky and had the right amount of non-grip?

THe standard drums on the back of a Sprint are so much too good, they have to be limited by a load sensing valve. So yes the fronts are the weak link, hence Jon's sterling work developing the TJ kit. If you fit Trackerjacks, you CAN dispense with the LSV!
If you look around the forum, you will find a few lively debates on the merits and demerits of rear discs. I'm not going to open THAT can of worms here!
