A member asked at the Triumph Show whether we supply stainless sleeved wheel cylinders.

The answer is no, currently, as the cost of sleeving would, if even possible, be similar to that for a single line master cylinder and therefore increase the cost of the cylinder by several hundred percent.

Is it worth investigating? The sleeve doesn't mean you'll never have to change seals again.

If the seals could also be modern material instead of NOS aged rubber then I think theres a market. Would finished sizes be 5/8" for example or smaller due to liner thickness?

They bore out and then replicate the original inside diameter with the stainless sleeve.

With a ready supply of inexpensive wheel cylinders that doesn't appear to be in any danger of drying up, I would have said this is not worthwhile. The only folk who would benefit are those whose cars are rarely used so the cylinders get sticky from standing (and there's a much simpler and more enjoyable cure for that!)
