That would probably explain the vibrations then. Will take a pic of the one I knocked up for my brothers car.

Nice one mart. Hell the way you ate that last spit without dropping a cog, just your right foot was real nice.
Interesting to listen to the changes too. Is the change up that is noticeably a bit long into 4th or OD?

Overtaking on these "proper" track days is by invitation, ie. the guy in front will put on his indicator, move over & then back off the throttle a bit to let the overtaking car make his manoeuvre cleanly. That's why I backed off as I was waiting for him to indicate.
On saying that, there is the odd TR, Spit & MG that just don't like to be overtaken by a scruffy looking Sprint and just won't back off so that you can't complete your manoeuvre in time for the next corner.
The gearing is a bit long on 3rd. Sprintparts sell a wide ratio gear set but at £650 tis a bit pricey for a non-competitive Sprint.

Your car does seem very "planted" on the track in those vids. Mart, the "wide ratio set is, I believe, the standard gearset out of a TR6/2000, many TR6 owners swap in the sprint box as the ratios are closer. Might be a cheap way round it?

I thought it was the close ratio set the racer boys used
