#1 Post by canuck »

I have a question on wether to replace my spark plug Leeds do not have a problem but was wondering if I can gain a little more power. Has anyone used the club ones if so can you suggest the best.I did ask about the Magnecor one in the dolly mixture but was told they are electrosport cables, do 8.00 mm. fit original dist cap as he was unsure.

Any power you gain will be immeasurably small and probably not detectable. However Magnacor leads are good quality so you may gain some reliability in the longer term.

Denis,
I've been using Magnecor leads since before they were available through the club.
They are excellent and you can get the ends for the standard cap (screw in) or side
entry cap (push in). fit is excellent.

Doug glad to hear from you missed you at the ATDI Campbell River. We just completed a boys run 1900 km's through the mountains and sometimes needed more power and torque to run with other Trs up the mountains. Were did you get yours and are there various colours.
Any other tips.

The 7mm electrosport cables from Magnecor are an excellent fit for the standard Sprint distributor cap. If 8mm leads are required then the cap needs to be modified. The Magnecor leads come with a ten year manufacturer's warranty.
