rear brake pipe

attached is photo of rear offside break pipe that has a leak. its the top one that goes to the axle. rimmer bris don't have one. its a 1973 triumph 1500 fwd. anyone any idea where i can get one please?

If you PM me the exact length, I will make you one and send it to you for £10 including postage. I have pipe lengths and patterns for most Dolly shaped cars but the 1500FWD is one that I don't! And looking at your pic, the pipe you need is longer than a standard RWD Dolomite one.

I'd take up the above offer, or just take the old one to a (proper) garage and they'll make you one. Easy job for someone with the right tools :)

does anybody know if i can get blanking ends to put on when i take the pipe off, not sure where to clamp the pipe it all seems to be copper and its not roadworthy to get it to a garage

You can clamp the flexi hose which is just upstream of the pipe you want to change. It's just visible in pic 3. If you don't have a dedicated hose clamp, you can use a mole grip, gently and with a bit of cardboard cereal box between the jaws and the hose to avoid damaging the hose. Or, if you like, for an extra quid, i'll make you a pipe blank!

Where are you based, reason, I'm slightly concerned that you are playing wit brakes, but seem to have slightly less than optimum knowledge.

Maybe someone could pop round, and offer some assistance.
