Sprint cooling hose kit.

Can anyone recommend a full set of coolant hoses for a 74 Sprint? I believe there's more than one variation? I see there's silicone sets on eBay, one set for use with Webbers, but why should this be different? I will be running Dellortos on mine.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Chris.

The coolant hoses should be largely the same for all models, though earlier cars had a different heater pipe arrangement with a small H piece and longer hoses. I'm not sure how you do things with Webers and Dellortos so you might need some custom hoses.
I ordered a set of silicone hoses from Roose Motorsport but they will be matt black and no motorsport logos, they have yet to arrive but their hoses are well regarded.
Okay.......

The plumbing is quite different for Webbers(/Dellortos or best of all EFI) because their dedicated inlet manifold does't have
a water pipe running through it.
In other words the 32mm, 16mm and 8mm bore hoses are the same, it is the 13mm (heater hoses) that are different.

I bought a set of silicon hose's from ebay, mine were red but only cost me £27 including postage,so i can put up with red hose's
i also bought those T- Bot clamps for my hose's, they tell you measure outside of your hose for clamp size, but we carefull sizes are not right,eg rad hose is 40mm so i bought 37-40mm clamp, you have to take the bolt right out then clamp fits but you cant get the bolt back in,next size up clamp is 40-43mm didnt buy that one as i thought it wouldnt clamp down enough, what im going to try is a longer bolt in the 37-40mm clamp i already bought

My hoses from Roose arrived this morning. Very nice look to them, they look totally stock but are silicone reinforced. Not cheap and had to wait 5 weeks for them but I wasn't in a hurry.

I used JCS clips on all my Roose silicone hoses, so far they have not pinched,
slipped, or cut into, and have been removed and re-used many a time.
As far as tightness goes, the clips have been done to the point of feeling the squeeze
on the pipe.
No probs with the hoses holding pressure, been tested on mine with the expansion tank
hose blocked off at the thermostat housing and driven 400 miles (serious pressure test!).
Aha,…..

Silicon?
Is that silicon.com?
Once upon a time, I had a couple of their 90 degree elbows but couldn't bring myself to fit such rubbish.
The seller had advertised a proper British made hose but sent these, yet would not uplift and refund me.
Needless to say such dishonesty was not rewarded with positive feedback.
