How do these attach to the roof? Got a project that could do with a repair in this area :)

I would use Tiger seal..incredible stuff! :)

Yep, Tiger Seal, that's part of the beauty of it, a weld free repair meaning you don't have to strip the vinyl roof ;-)

do they fit to a ledge/return then? i cant visualise how they attach. How much Alun?

The top edge of this panel creates a (normally spot welded) flange joint with the back edge of the roof panel which is ultimately concealed by the cranked chrome trims.

They are a right fiddle to make as the matting tries to flatten itself again rather than following the tight radii that are inherent - the top flange is almost a joggle, it is that tight a radius! That, and the mould costs, unfortunately affects the price which is £80

Sealant adhesive type of stuff, difficult to remove :)
