The 5 x 13 inch “Minilite” style alloy wheels with
20 mm wheel-offset that you bought from Palmside in New Zealand, seem suspiciously identical to the 5 x 13 inch “Minilite” style alloy wheels with
20 mm wheel-offset, available from John Brown Wheels in Great Britain.

Had they been available from Palmside or elsewhere in New Zealand, you would have been better off with the 5½ x 13 inch “Minilite” style alloy wheels with 25 mm wheel-offset, that are available from John Brown Wheels in Great Britain.

Notwithstanding the issue of the relatively small wheel-offset of
20 mm or
25 mm, that would oblige you to limit the choice of tyres, to a maximum of 175 mm section-width (i.e.
175/70 R13, 175/75 R13 or 175/80 R13), one of my major concerns is the relatively large
67•1 mm centre-bore diameter of these “Minilite” style wheels, which would require the use of a
spigot ring (aka hub-centric ring) of some description, to support the wheel on the hub-centre.

I would feel rather uncomfortable relying solely on just four x four relatively puny 3/8” UNF wheel-fixing studs to support the weight of a fully-laden Triumph Toledo 1300 or 1500 (circa
1¼ tonnes) on their own.
