Sprint timing

When the crank pulley is at TDC, which cyclinder contact should the rotor arm be pointing at?

on whether its TDC no1 firing or exhaust...
Only way to tell is the valves. No 1 firing is valves on the rock...ie neither open. (or none of the 4 to be precise).

You only get 2 choices...better to look down t he oil filler cap to be sure.

If you look at the dizzy, you will see a small lug near the front. The rotor arm should be pointing towards this if the leads are in the cap correctly.
