Part number needed.

If anyone out there has a parts list for 1500HL Dolomite, I need the part numbers for the handbrake links that go through the rear brake backplates. I want to see if they are the same as Sprint ones to broaden (potentially) the market place for the excellent pair that I have available. I already have a Sprint parts list to check against!

Cheers, Steve

Yes, they are the same it appears.

Last year I was offered a parts catalogue I had never heard of, entitled "Triumph Dolomite Range, 1976 onwards, Parts Catalogue". This came from a Honda dealer who was having a clearout!

As you can see where parts are different between models it tells you and gives the respective part numbers.

Very handy! Thanks Geoff! I have the same numbers in my 75 Sprint list.

I have the same parts catalogue but the my copy is a later edition as it has "B5799/5" in the bottom right corner and is dated February 1981 on the front page. The differences on this particular page are due to the tandem brakes which were introduced in 1978.

If you are referring to 521007/8 then there are only two types, those and the ones that fit the non self adjusting brakes, the difference being the extra arm that flicks the adjuster wheel.

Yes...

As above, these are common to all the self adjusting type within the Dolomite range.

There is (was?) an eBayer selling remade versions for the Vitesse/GT6 and he uses the same part numbers as the Dolomites.
Also, will these fit a Ford or Vauxhall, given that Dolomite brake shoes are common to Ford and Vauxhall?
