If you send a PM (Private Message) to a user, they are notified via email that they have a message waiting for them in their Inbox. They can view the message next time they log on to the forum. It's much more efficient than posting "FAO..." messages....Also, if you click on the "email" button on a user's profile (see "Memberslist" at the top of every page) you can send an email straight to someone, the Forum automatically forwards the email. Clever innit?
