Hiya everyone!

Does anyone have a gearbox bell-housing available for a single rail 1850 gearbox please?

Many thanks!

Sadly the 3 rail does not have the hole for the selector rod. It can be modified, and a cap made, but the correct bellhousing is a better solution.
So a single rail bellhousing will fit straight to 3 rail, but not the other way round.

A small but important detail!
Pete (local gearbox chap) has fitted single rail boxes to a few GT6s over the years, and made "caps" to suit. It works, but a proper bellhousing is best if at all possible. But needs must etc.

There are two single rail gearboxes in Jon Tilson’s shed, non overdrive

If not, there's a non overdrive single rail 'box in Sussex on ebay for £55 that could render its bellhousing before being sold on...

Alun, that is a 1500 box, so not suitable for an 185o.
