Well if you are sufficiently ingenious why not? To test your work may require a meter to measure resistance at around 14K ohms and varying by length. Which end needs repairing?new to this wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 9:42 pm Is it possible to repair/ replace one of the connections,on the Sprint HT lead

14Kohm is way too much. You want 5Kohm max in your HT from coil to plug electrode. Originally the green coil lead with a grey boot is a resistor wire of around 5KOhm. You can have a pvc copper core or better a modern silicon 0Kohm plugleads. An 123 has for example a resistor in the rotorarm so 0KOhm plug and coil leads are the best then. All Plugs with an "R" in them must be avoided also when having resistor HT leads.roadster wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 9:26 amWell if you are sufficiently ingenious why not?
