Can anyone supply the size of the inner bore that the rear wheel bearing sits in and the bore of the bearing in which the half shaft sits on a Sprint please?
I'm looking to get sealed bearings and wonder what sizes they are....I may machine the hub out slightly to make a non standard bearing fit...alternately I can see that the bearings in there are Timken, would anyone have the timken part numbers for these please?
Cheers!

The outer side can be sealed.
Actually it looks like the bearing sits against a shoulder so it's the outer side of the housing dia I want, same side as the key....and shaft dia and I'll see if I can find a suitable seal that will fit between the two..
May not be describing it very well....

But there is a seal at both sides of the bearing? You want to add another?

Yes. And why do you think this might be?
The inner seal is working fine, the new outer, like the old one is ineffectual, so another approach needs to be taken.

Use the correct grease, silkolene rg2 and drill a little hole just inbetween the large seal and bearing in the axle casing to have a breather on both sides in the "grease" area and you will be fine. Most of the time only using the correct grease will solve but when circuit racing a breather will be necessary not to have grease in the brake drum.

if I recall 2585/2523s. You can get ones without the S which I believe only affect a radius on one shoulder. Do your homework first though before you buy and don't rely on my memory...
