This is now a rolling restoration. Replaced drive couplings, top and bottom front ball joints, upper arm bushes, track rod ends, steering column couplings, gear lever bushes. Stainless exhaust is on order. Fitted a Dolomite hazard warning switch - rocker type - in the interests of safety, I know it will never get used! So far I've only pottered around Hayling Island. After the exhaust the next job will be to replace the brake pipes and hoses - they look original so must be on borrowed time. Tyres are 10 years old so they will also be replaced.

Nice to see a tidy FWD 1500 for once! Most recent ebay offerings have been little better than basket case resto projects.

And I DO like Mallard!

Welcome to the nuthutch and good luck with the recomission!
