Finally, I’ve started my CA18DET project 😃 The plan is :-

Fit CA18DET from a Nissan 200SX mated to Nissan gearbox.
One piece prop with rear flange modified to suit Sprint axle.
Standard fast road suspension and steering eg poly bushes, GAZ shocks, slightly uprated springs.
Standard wheels, dash, O/D gearstick.
Trackerjack brakes.
Larger T28 turbo and custom exhaust.
Subframe modified by Dan Brown.

I’ll post pics as I go along.

That’s something I’ll like to see.

I am just starting to do exactly the same thing.

I have sourced an 1850 subframe complete with rack and suspension attached. The subframe is going off to Dan too and I am going to re-build the front suspension. The difficult part is going to be finding a shell/car to fit it in. Also, Dan says getting hold of a good CA is difficult because most of them are knackered now.

Dan Brown did the same thing engine wise, looked like it fitted really well.

I spotted that on E-bay too. I think it might bust a Sprint axle!

If it doesn’t break the bank first.
