Does anyone know how to visually or by measurement tell the difference between the 1500 flywheel for a Spitfire and a Dolomite?
I found one in a bag in the garage and can't remember what it is.

The difference is in the ring gear, the teeth on the Spit ring gear have a pronounced leader cut into the clutch side of the teeth. for a Dolomite there is a smaller leader on the engine side. This is because the Spit has an inertial starter and the Dolomite has a pre engaged one.

Brilliant thanks Steve.... I'm prepared to bet money the one I have isn't the one I need, but at least now I can check!
