Help needed with identification - now solved

As I put the TR7 engine back together I am trying to sort a few other bits and pieces whilst doing so.
On the attached photo is a brass union on top of the manifold that has always been blanked off.
Can anyone tell me what this would have been connected to or what it was for?
I’m guessing a breather maybe?
Should it be blanked off now it’s in a Toledo?
Thanks in advance
Andy

You mean the take off banjo connector on the right? Emissions thingy.

Yes it’s the banjo . The brake servo pipe was connected to a one way valve that was screwed into the left hand side of the manifold .
As I wasn’t the one that originally did the engine swap I cannot say which is right or wrong.

I've seen a picture somewhere of US spec emission controls, or it might have been Canadian, anyway, the point is that that take off was used for that and is blanked off on a UK spec.

Sorry about 'emission thingy', a bit rubbish but I thought I'd easily find the post that I dimly recalled but failed before you replied! This is the sort of think I was looking for but it was clearer.

I’ve been looking For under bonnet TR7 pics using google But could not find one clear enough to show both the hoses that attach to the manifold and where they route to . One being the servo .

I asked the question on the TR register forum and it is the control hose for the air box hot/cold . So I will blank it off As not required .
Thanks
