Headlamp Mounting Panels: Who has fitted 'Club' panels?

How did you find the fit, both of the panel itself and the later fitting of the light components?
Reason I ask is I've never had any feedback, good or bad, but now is the opportunity to make them better...if need be.
Our fabricator was reliant on one of his contacts who CNC plasma cut the blanks for him; that's why the cuts were a little crude in places. Unfortunately, the business shut down at beginning of lock down and hasn't re-opened; no one can make contact with the guy who used to run it either commercially, or socially. As a consequence, we have no supply of the panels for our fabricator to fold and weld, nor do we have the CAD file that the missing supplier had created.
I am in the process of creating a new CAD file myself, as luckily our fabricator had a flat 'blank' that I can measure, but comparing it to a NOS panel I have here, there are some differences, but the NOS panel, having been folded, is far harder to measure accurately. Once I have a CAD file, I can get the blanks laser cut locally, which will make for a far neater finished panel.
If there are no issues with the Club panel, of which we've sold dozens over the years, I think I'll be taking the easier route of copying the flat pattern...
