Remote central locking AND boot release!
I was going to incorporate the fob with the key on the Dolomega as Dave has done, using the Omega key body as it incorporated a chip for the immobiliser. But it turned out I had to have the immobiliser professionaly bypassed at great expense and the chip was no longer needed. seemed a waste of money after that!
Got 2 fobs like this, plus the master reception unit to work it all (and an alarm if I wanted) for only £18 on ebay, probably Chinese, but from a UK seller. Doors and boot can still be released manually if desired and there will be a push botton for the boot inside the car as well.
Not so much old age, or even rank laziness (though I do have some of that) so much as a deep love of gadgets. Electric windows going in too!

Pah...
I see your fancy remotes and raise you keyless entry and push button start.
Ok slight lie, the door lock doesn't work and the ignition is broken.
But on a serious note I am working on keyless entry and keyless start for Project July.

I have pushbutton start too! Since I fit it to almost all my cars, I didn't think it worth mentioning!

I thought it was worth a jokey comment.
