Had to go back and look again and still had trouble reading the script! No, it was just a feeling I got looking at the picture. Having lived through that time, I remember endless news broadcasts of striking miners and coachloads of flying pickets facing police.

The donkey jacket and the police presence are clues. I remember the miners strike back then. We used to joke about Arthur Scargill's barnet looking like a Shredded Wheat.
