Hi all,

Saw this when googling for a Sprint clutch slave cyl kit a few mins ago. It is listed as 514244 (which is the correct part number in the Parts Manual) but can anyone confirm if this part being offered is also the same for the Sprint?7

There is indeed cross compatibility between Sprint and Land Rover clutch slave cylinders.

In fact, it is the availability of the Land Rover part at very low prices which prevents me from including Sprint slaves in the Club reseleeved cylinder range. At last investigation, at £20 plus VAT, you'd be on your fourth Land Rover replacement of the complete cylinder before you'd match the cost of a resleeved one!!

I still see a case for resleeved club slave cylinders. I'd rather change 1 expensive one than 4 cheap ones anyday, seeing as how bad the access is and how much of a pain they are to bleed! Plus the fact that the cheap one will certainly let you down at the most inconvenient moment possible!
