overdrive units

Hi all, pretty sure I am not the first to ask this question? Is the overdrive unit on a Dolomite 1850 the same as a Dolomite sprint and if so are they interchangeable - same mounting bolts and driveshaft flange?

The single rail 1850 has a slightly different OD case, it will work on a sprint. But a sprint one will not bolt staright onto the single rail 1850.
Early, 3 rail 1850 boxes use the same OD case as sprint.
Pretty sure the are the same ratio.
Flanges are the same etc.
