Been looking for Sprint sump gaskets, you can get an uprated gasket in rubber, any one fitted them, and are they any better than originals ?

Rubber gasket and oil....

Just because someone puts the word uprated in an advertisement doesn't mean it is. Don't believe all on the internet.

I don't think the rubber ones are any good. I remember someone having posted in the past about them, and it was a negative post.

I bought an "improved" automatic gearbox sump gasket in rubber. It was rubbish.

Nothing wrong with the normal sump gaskets, you just need to make sure your sump is flat before you fit it. Also be careful not to strip the bolts that go into the aluminium timing cover and real crank seal housing.
