As always, thank you very much for producing another interesting copy of Dolly Mixture. It was a good read.
There was one item on page 27 on how to date the Triplex glass.
I did mine just now and SWK's registration seems to agree with the date codes apart from the rear o/s, but the reasons for the glass being replaced are lost in time now.
One curiosity I noted was that three of the "X s" in "Triplex" have different date formats. One has two horizontal dots above it and the other two have two stacked vertical dots above them.
Does this signify anything different ?

Yes I found this really interesting too. I remember being at a show and some one telling how to work it out but couldn’t recall it once back home.
I have an early sprint with clear glass, I’ve been busy today but will check the glass out to see how original it is.

I found a web page that mentions the dots on the XXX, sadly it described it as an unknown dating scheme.

I tried dating some Triplex glass once...but she was a right pane...and it turned out to be a wind up

No…she was completely transparent!
