Assume its for the 2" dash instrument gauges. The body is 12.2mm diameter.

This one looks similar:

expensive though.

There is this 12mm push in holder in metal but it takes a different bulb:

or these plastic ones:

https://www.autosparks.co.uk/electrical ... pless-type

or

Cheers Marshman

The ebay version looks promising but as you say expensive for what it is, The other two I've already looked at
The car builder version changes the lamp type as the one I have is screw thread, so going to hold out on them, same as the the Autosparks.

I have ordered something close from Amazon, but again its really a if I can't find the real thing scenario I'll try whatever I can find till I'm happy

Nothing is off the table at the moment, so it might be the ebay version

I'm off for my annual jaunt to the Beaulieu Autojumble on Saturday. Having found out that they seem to be like "hens teeth" I will have a good look round - there are a few regulars there that have repro parts on display and a few specialists like S-V-C that may have or know where to get them. If I find anything I'll post on here.

How many do you need?

I can send one in an envelope if you like. The centre contacts I have also so you can make it to your harness/wire.

I have picked up a couple of old wiring harnesses from 1970s BL cars and use them to supply components like that.

Fantastic responses guys, shows how well the forum works

Jeroen, cheers for the offer that would be great, I'll send you a PM
The other avenues being looked at might workout as well, I'll update when I find the holder I'm going to use

This has all come about because I am adding a TR6 oil pressure gauge to the sprint dashboard, and moving the Voltage gauge down to parcel shelf (I've made a new one and it will accommodate the voltage gauge really well) The gauge doesn't come with holders and bulbs so I need to extend and add down to the parcel shelf
