I hope this isn't a contentious question but why are there two Triumph dolomite forums?
I'm not sure which one to post in and I don't really want to post twice.

Re: Dolomite Facebook forums
The first forum was set up in the early days by a long standing club member who had been an area organiser for the Midlands area before the late John Glenn. His interest however subsided and he handed control of the group to a non member who for whatever reasons was against any promotion of the Club and started removing any post that mentioned the efforts of the Club and then started blocking certain members from even posting. It was as a direct consequence of those actions that the ‘official’ group was formed so that the activities and efforts of the Club to preserve and support the cars could be more widely promoted.
The moderator of the first group believes that he should have all the benefits of the efforts of the Club without having to pay a subscription and objects to the ‘members’ only’ policy for sale of the Club generated spares and services, despite the repeated explanation that if we sell and service non members the Club becomes a retailer with tax implications which would necessarily increase both costs and administrative burdens upon the members and volunteers.

Sorry it's taken so long to reply.
Thanks for the info, knowing this I will focus my efforts on the official group.
