Hello everyone

First question:
I'm doing some little adjustement on my dolly, checking now the heating system. This blower do turn very slowly in the second position.
I'm not sure but what must be the resistance of the resistor from the blower ( 2speeds:slow-fast)? and what is the schema from connect ?

The inside of the ventilator was soooo dirty/rusty!!

Second question:
Gearbox : recently I was moving the car and then back to the garage. (Concret floor = plastic s##t below) After a week I looked under car and saw some clear oil!! (engine oil will black)
I guess some thing is leaking at my gearbox, can some one tell in which direction I have to search?

I can't help with the blower. My toledo one only every worked on full speed.

As to gearbox, you need to observe where it is coming from. Front, middle or back.
Front would be from the front seal. Back, rear seal or possibly speedo drive. Middle, could be from the drain plug, or dribbling down from one of the other places mentioned. Ideally get under, clean it up with a cloth and a bit of brake cleaner and revisit a week later.

Having just refurbed my blower heater I can say that it runs fast in the first position and very fast in the second one.

But for the resistor: what kind / value have this resistor and where can i have a new one?

Are you getting any kind of measurement across the resistor?

Generally if they fail they go open circuit. The resistor is only in circuit on low speed, its bypassed on the second setting. A failed resistor usually manifests as no fan on setting 1, normal operation on setting 2.
